What Robby did in the Busch race was uncalled for, and he made his self look like a total idiot. If I was NASCAR, I would banned him. He has always been known to wreck people, but knowing that you are not in 2nd position and stay there even when they tell you to go back where you are suppose to be. And just ignore NASCAR, and wreck the leader. I understand that the two had some problems in the race, but that was no way to handle it.
Jeff
he was right, nascar was wrong, but there could of been a different approach to handling it. but who says nascar would have done anything different, who knows if they would have corrected their wrong.

From what I saw on the replays. I felt he was in the right. I've always thought that if you got spun-out during a caution you were able to keep your spot. So he finished the race under protest. I thought he made the right call.
Alison
I attended the race live since I live in montreal and I think Nascar was just in there decision.I know they showed it on television but in person you really see how he acted so yes I agree and by the way it was a great first race to attend,my first one in,terrific.

I think that he should have just went back to 12th and raced from there. I'm pretty tired of drivers that do stuff like that. Thats another reason why I'm not a Robbie Gordon fan.
Brian
I think that overall, Robbie Gordon was wrong in not adhering to Nascar's ruling...but in the long run, I feel he was right. After watching the replays, and gaging where the cars were, he did not belong behind the 33....the only logical place for him to be was in 1st place. I think that Nascar needs to release the replays to the fans and I feel that Robbie Gordon should be awarded the win. Had he simply adhered to Nascar and gone back to where they said he should've been, he wouldn't have had the opportunity for a win as he deserved.

Robby Gordon got screwed, plain and simple...I'm not condoning his reaction to it, but it would be hard for me not to do the same thing in his shoes.....how would you feel if you went all the way up to Canada just to win a race and ride around the whole race, biding your time until the last 5 laps and then get spun out AFTER the caution flys? I would've stayed in 2nd on the track too, why settle for 13th place when you came to win? so what, he got penalized and finished 18th officially...they need to change the rule about getting spun under yellow, or NASCAR's saying "It's OK to spin the leader and gain his position when the yellow comes out"....classic f***-up by NASCAR...but where he went wrong is you don't mess with NASCAR, YOU CAN'T WIN!!!

I thought Robby was done wrong. Do you suppose if Robby was one of the golden boys of Nascar, he would of sat out Sundays race....yeh, fat chance. Robby's one of the true genuine guys of the sport and he's always wronged. This is one time where I am truely fed up with Nascar and their make em up rules as they see fit. I'm glad Robby did what he did and I stand behind him 150%. It's truely sad though that him standing up for what he believes will never make a difference.....

l saw that race and even being an amatuer, l thought his behavior was reprehensible. He acted like no more than a little baby.

its a hard call to make cause he did pass under the cation flag but did he know the cation was out ? and the other guy did the same thing but i think nascar also looks at the history of the driver and robbie has always been a nascar rebel .. i think they should have put him in 2 place and let them race it out but robbie would have still spun him out and i dont think nascar would have black flag him for it .
Rich
I don't know if Robbie Gordon should have been directed to restart in 13th but he should have definitely followed NASCAR's directive. He was an embarassment at the end of the race and took away from Kevin Harvick's celebration as well as taking away Marcos Ambrose's chance at winning.
Craig
I think NASCAR made the right decision. When the governing body of the sport tells you to do something, you must do it, whether they are right or wrong, however, due to Robby's actions, I think they were completely in the right. It was a blatant slap in the face to NASCAR.
Eric
I think that Robby should have been the leader or at least 2nd for the restart. I think he should have been black flagged for his retaliation.
Teresa
I think Robby has a case for an appeal, however, he DID make a bad decision by not answering the black flag. I believe the boy needs some anger management. :)
Scott
I think that it's good NASCAR suspended him. Its about time they got serious with their penalties. He's done some pretty dumb stuff before(like the little incident with him and mikey at loudon) but to just disregard NASCAR's orders is grounds for a "real" punishment not just 100 points and some money.
SweenDawg
I think he was wronged by NASCAR with the being spun under caution deal. I liked how he still did burnouts at the end, and stood on the roof of his car and saluted his fans. The man is an amazing driver, I think next week and watkins glen he will come back and shove last weekend in their face.
Brian
He needs to stay off road for the benefit of every racer. Nasscar should bar him from watkins glen if he has any plans of racing there too. just my 2 cents worth
Karen
I think nascar messed up. You could so clearly see the caution was out when he was spun.
Lisa
You gotta obey the flags. Of course, I would say that, being a flagger!!! He actually got caught in a catch-22. Pit under the black and lose a lap (minimum), don't pit and they stop scoring you. I think he did what he had to do, hoping that an appeal would negate the black flag, but I don't think he should win an appeal of the original infraction.
Liz
My first thought was "Is he high?!" I think it was childish and immature what he did. Completely not surprised that he would pull antics like that because he's always been a bit of a hot head. Very disappointed that he would misrepresent NASCAR the way he did in another country.
Kevin
kudos go out to robby!! i'm a huge robby fan and always will be ,but i think he has a slight right in the situatuon. i agree with the point that he should've gotten his position back at the time of caution.i also believe he should've realized that he should maintain caution speeds and taken the position nASScar gave him.the thing about nascar is they constantly rewrite rules as races go along. i suggest they stick to consistent calls and make good on situations that do'nt favor their superstar drivers. they always threaten their drivers about not being able to live without nascar well nascar can't live without a fanbase--so be consistant chumps!! last but not least robby should'nt have been a dick.that did'nt help the situation but at the least it was pretty damn funny. stand up for what you believe in--gas on!!
BHR
well im not a robby gordon fan, but its a bad call i think on nascar for not letting robby go back into the number 2 spot, i know he got spon out, but it was after the caution and if im right dont they freeze the field at the caution? but as for robby he should have done what nascar wanted him to do, and that was go to the penalty for the black flag, his actions were pretty bad and wrecking ambrose who could have won his first race, thats what upset me about it...but my take was it was both to blame on robby and nascar.
Kate
the caution was out and he was slowing down the other guy wrecked him. he should have won the race. i dont like robbie's temper that much but for once he was right. it just sucks that he has rubbed so many people the wrong way. he probably means well but just comes off a bit ruff. if it were the hendrick drivers the story would have played out differently.
